But it was a great area to grow up back in the day!

The local high schools were M-ville, Laurel Park, Drewry Mason, Carver, Fieldale Collinsville, and Bassett. Pittsylvania Co. added three more schools to the Piedmont District with Tunstall, Chatham, and Dan River. A great area, with a great little AA high school conference.
